We are really excited to bring this exceptional coffee to Salto courtesy of Onyx Coffee importers. Coming from the same farm as the Coffee Blossom Honey we sell at the cafe (the most delicious honey you will ever taste), this washed processed coffee has notes of milk chocolate, stone fruits, and sugar cane. The producer, Jorge Mendez, has an amazing and inspiring story. Jorge was an orphan from a very young age. He started picking coffee to support himself, only making the Q equivalent of 25 cents per day. He met his wife as a picker, and together, they created many avenues of income to support themselves and their growing family. They started with honey, eggs, and apples. Years later, he now owns the farm where he once picked cherries.
